TASK
Part 1
Re-examine the form and guiding design principles that form the main objective and expand the ergonomics of the specific activity of your project 2.
Re-interpretation of your spaces creates a design intent (narrative) with a sequence of 2 to 3 spaces.
Part 2
- minimum 2 and maximum 3 materials being used: concrete, timber, steel, glass
study your selected materials' characteristics, construction techniques and sensorial qualities
Part 3
make a series of mock-ups, sketches and drawings
Part 4
- create a final model
- do drawings: exploded axonometric, floor plan, section, elevation
- make 4 tattoo stamps and 1 abstract drawing
Part 5
Do a verbal presentation with your presentation board and final model

Final Model
NARRATIVE: From the front view, the user’s eyes will get captured to the back of the structure thus they’ll directly walk to the end of the structure. This structure demonstrates lines especially slanted which represents someone closely falling asleep. The multiple lines represent the line that indicates a person has passed away in the hospital from the flat lines from the machine that monitors a person’s heart rate which I have incorporated into the model as it is to show how a person is running away for reality and going into a ‘sleep’. Some people go to sleep to escape from reality thus I have created a space where someone can run away from reality to reduce a little of their stress level and ease their mental health. The resting area is a start up of getting tired and snoozing area is the final stage of sleep. The snoozing area is being made like a cacoon to bring comfort to the user for comfort, closure and privacy.
THE FINAL OUTCOME
OUTCOME
REFLECTION
CITIZEN AND GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES
As I have progressively brought new mock ups for most of the class I have gotten a lot feedbacks from my tutorial lecturer which helped me imrpovd my model by alot and which also made me satisfied the design of my model. Getting feedback from my lecturer also motivated me to work harder for my future models.
THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS
After some discussion, about how I should do my layout of the model, I agree with the lecturer's thoughts. I tried to interpret my idea with the suggestion given by the lecturer. I was able to stay calm until the last minute of the assignment and I was able to overcome it. Furthermore, the lecturer's feedback made me think more about how I should improve my model.
INTRAPERSONAL
As this was one of the most difficult assignments I managed to overcome this assignment and I did it all doing my assignment with my friends I get lonely sometimes doing this assignment alone and as I tend to procrastinate if I am alone. I learnt that there could be many ways to improve your work. I learnt how to find ideas when I was having a very hard time finding them.
