The Design Process Sketch Journal (DPSJ) (and workshops)

Compile the sketches and images of your process  models during your design process in A3 form

Part 1 - Macro-Site
Divided into 7 groups, we were chosen to do a Circulation pattern in which we as a group needx to collect data.

Take a site visit to Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam to design a Tropical Sanctuary which includes a contemplating area, working area, discussion room, resting area and a washroom in which the built-up space is at a maximum of 100sqm to accommodate 2 people which includes you and one family member.

Part 3- Individual
To reflect our understanding of architecture, our work must demonstrate how architecture is conceptualised and transformed into reality. This project explores the relationship between users, site context, spatial experience and architectural tectonics.

REFLECTION

REFLECTION

With the help of the internet, it allowed me to explore and get inspired including looking at different case studies. I got to also learn more about construction detailing through this assignment. Getting feedback from my tutor in every lesson honestly helped me a lot to improve my design even though I feel demotivated during this assignment. When getting all this feedback has allowed me to solve problems that I would have never thought of when designing and constructing, I have achieved the TGC of citizenship and global perspectives, thinking and problem-solving skills and digital literacy.

DIGITAL LITERACY
