We are to measure a space/room in our house and draw it out with the furniture in the space in basic drawing conventions with a suitable scale, line weight and symbols. 8 drawings must be done which include a drawing of the plan, 2 internal elevations, a section and 1 set of detailed drawings (plan, elevations, sections and one zoom in detail).
This assignment puts our observational skills to the test and interprets what we visually see and translate it onto paper.

Progress Week 5
I started off with the floor plan and tested the scale for this picture it is 1;25 which is too big so I decided to use the 1;50 scale

I changed the scale to 1: 50 and asked the lecturer to recommend a section line for me to draw later.

I finished all of the drawings on the weekends
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
I have successfully learned how to draw a bigger scale drawing compared to the first assignment. The challenges I was able to overcome were drawing small details and trying to get an accurate measurement for the placement of the furniture in the room. Overall this assignment gave me a chance to learn how to do a technical drawing of space/room.
Progress Week 8
I finalised the drawing and get approval from the lecturer so that I can start outlining the drawing.
